What we are building

Mimica's mission is to accelerate the discovery and deployment of automation with AI.

Our first product, Mapper, learns patterns from employee clicks and keystrokes, identifies key steps, decisions and repetition, and generates “blueprints” for automation. Today, it supports RPA teams, that build software bots for repetitive computer tasks such as data entry, form completion and claim processing. Alongside creating process maps for automation, we've introduced Miner, for automation, we have launched a companion tool, Miner, which helps enterprises identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

What you will work on

  • Completing InfoSec questionnaires and delivering high-quality responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) during the sales process with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts across teams to triage requests and provide accurate information about Mimica’s security posture, data privacy and compliance controls to prospects and customers.
  • Staying informed about industry security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Helping us develop and maintain our internal security knowledge base including relevant policies, procedures and other documentation.
  • Helping us prepare for successful SOC2, ISO2700 and other audits by gathering evidence

Requirements

  • Background in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and collaborate effectively with subject matter experts across the organization to gather required evidence.
  • Strong attention to detail with the capability to synthesize and analyze complex information, ensuring clear and precise communication in responses.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, capable of articulating technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to work at the intersection of technology, security, and business.

Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting security and compliance activities in SaaS/enterprise software environments.
  • Working knowledge of security principles, trends and best practices, including those related to cloud environments and services.
  • Familiarity with security standards and data privacy regulations, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.
  • Active interest in AI, ML, automation, or related technologies.

Location

This is a fully remote position. You can be based in Costa Rica or anywhere in Latin America or Europe within a UTC-7 to UTC+2 timezone.
