What you'll do
As a Corporate Security Specialist, you will collaborate with the Corporate Security Manager to proactively identify and implement operating procedures, security solutions, and infrastructure across our business to reduce potential threats and risks. You will play a vital role in improving the overall security culture by developing initiatives, conducting training programmes, and raising awareness. Using industry benchmarking and crime forecasting, you will implement solutions and initiatives to minimise the risk of harm towards our colleagues and customers. Additionally, you will develop security operating procedures, establish governance routines, participate in external forums, and conduct threat / risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and enhance security culture and awareness. Your expertise will also be instrumental in managing incidents, conducting scenario exercises, and successfully collaborating with various business functions.

Who you are
As a Corporate Security Specialist for our Channel Operations division, you are a highly experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of criminal investigations, processes, and procedures, specifically within a commercially operated business. Your expertise in project management, combined with strong influencing skills, allows you to successfully implement security initiatives and solutions to reduce risks and threats to our colleagues and customers. With your comprehensive understanding of emergency services protocols and incident management procedures, you play a pivotal role in developing and implementing security operating procedures in line with legislation requirements. Your collaborative approach enables you to work effectively across different business functions and teams, providing recommendations to improve security culture, infrastructure, and operating procedures. Your ability to challenge the status quo and find innovative solutions, coupled with your resilience and flexibility in adapting to changing contexts, make you an invaluable asset to our Crime & Security team.
