What the job looks like:

• Support the technical operations, including incident, problem and availability management. Handling service communications on service status, planned outages, releases etc.;
• Maintain the network and security landscape, provide oversight, reduce technical complexity and find ways to achieve more with less;
• Monitor network and security performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements for optimal network and security infrastructure efficiency;
• Lead the management of the security platforms and processes for Endpoint Protection (AV, XDR), Security Posture (CSPM, Security Ratings) and Vulnerability Management, Certificate management, and privileged access management;
• Collect the specifications, do the scoping, project planning and stakeholder engagement regarding network and security projects;
• Design and implement secure and scalable network infrastructures (Datacenter, Campus, …) as well security platforms (Firewalls, SASE, PAM, CSPM, NAC, …);
• Shape the team's strategy and roadmap, keeping track of new technologies and platforms and giving guidance.

 

What you'll bring to the table:

• Proven track record in designing, implementing and managing complex network and security infrastructure;
• Deep Networking Knowledge, including a thorough understanding of core networking concepts like TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and various routing protocols; experience with Azure cloud is a plus;
• Security Expertise, possessing a strong grasp of security best practices, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions. Knowledge of encryption technologies, penetration testing methodologies, and vulnerability assessments is crucial;
• Advanced Troubleshooting capabilities to meticulously diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues, including Incident Handling and Response (investigation and containment of threats);
• Can articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in English;
• Able to foster a strong sense of teamwork and effectively collaborate with colleagues from various IT disciplines;
• Able to keep track of multiple tasks, provide realistic timelines and manage your time effectively;
• Good at problem-solving, approaching challenges creatively and systematically to find optimal solutions;
• Commitment to continuous learning.
