Azure DevSecOps Cloud Engineer II

Prudent Technology is seeking an experienced Azure DevSecOPs Cloud Engineer working with agile scrum team of aggressive sprint and release schedule to implement the hosting solution template using Microsoft Bicep for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as part of GitHub Actions continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to automate the deployment, provisioning, and management of infrastructure resources on Azure. As a DevSecOps Cloud Engineer, you will be performing Cloud Support Services but not limited to the following:

Job Requirements or Skills Required:

• Design and implementation of web hosting environment on Azure Cloud, using DevSecOps automation for deployment process using Microsoft Bicep for IaC as part of GitHub Actions.
• Developing Azure containerization and Kubernetes orchestrations to Develop/Test (Stage)/Production environment.
• Manage users (view users and org roles, view the org quota, add and manage users in a space)
• Deploy production applications through automated pipelines.
• Review / audit platform setup and debug logs/SPLUNK log and event monitoring reports for anomalies, unauthorized access and suspicious activities and report to Federal staff.
• Manage buildpacks, domains and routes
• Administer container networking
• Resource utilization and Scale Application(s)
• Configure Health Monitor notifications (24x7 Support)
• Provide recommendations and considerations for designing and running an application
• Provide DevSecOps support for Drupal web applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, Master's Degree preferred;
• 2+ years experience automating Infrastructure setup and application deployment using best practices of CI/CD with tools like GitHub Actions and Microsoft Biceps
• 5+ years of experience setting up and configuring Microsoft Azure native services, containerization and Kubernetes orchestrations to Develop/Test (Stage) / Production environments.
• 5+ years of experience onboarding applications to cloud platforms such as Azure and Kubernetes.
• Expert knowledge of traditional and cloud-based security tools, best practices and policies including demonstrated experience protecting all layers of the application stack.

Clearance:

• US Citizen or permanent residency, with ability to obtain a clearance of Public Trust and maintain a minimum favorable active security clearance investigation level of Tier 4 (T4) per OPM Position Designation System.
