As an armed Security Specialist, you will support the Corporate Security lead in matters pertaining to physical security and guarding operations. You’ll maintain order and safety as you work alongside a robust team ensuring the protection of campus personnel, assets, and operations. 

 

  • Perform mobile patrols and static observations of Nestlé Purina’s corporate campus
  • Provide immediate intervention to deescalate hostile situations by applying appropriate levels of control
  • Maintain high levels of proficiency with multiple protective devices, including firearms while meeting jurisdictional and department standards
  • Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, and unauthorized persons while inspecting buildings, grounds, and security devices
  • Notify, coordinate, and advise local first responders as needed
  • Provide emergency services and rescue, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid during sudden illnesses or injury
  • Conduct initial investigations into security infractions and crimes committed against property or employees and prepare concise and detailed reports
  • Investigate and respond to calls for service, intrusion, and other life safety alarms

 

Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • 3+ years of verifiable work experience in law enforcement
  • Graduate of a state recognized basic law enforcement-training program
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain, a Corporate Security Advisor (CSA) license from Missouri Department of Public Safety within first year of hire
  • Valid driver’s license
  • POST Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (active/inactive) OR Federal equivalent
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Successfully complete and pass an enhanced company and third-party licensing authority’s background investigation, psychological assessment, and drug screening

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $47,000 to $79,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
