The Opportunity
“As a Red Team Security Engineer, you will simulate and emulate real-world attack scenarios to help test current controls. You will assist the defenders to spot, respond, and stop attacks as well as strengthen and improve our defense posture. You will have the opportunity to collaborative with multidisciplinary cybersecurity teams to help shape the next generation security for FICO’s Platform.” - Cyber Security-Director
What You’ll Contribute
Focus on designing, researching, and executing real world attacks on FICO infrastructure and products.
Lead penetration tests against core FICO infrastructure and applications in multiple areas.
Produce high quality reporting deliverables to other teams and senior management.
Research new vulnerabilities and assist in identifying their impact on FICO.
Write custom tools to assist in making assessments more efficient.
Conduct realistic adversary simulations from conception through reporting.
Utilize Threat Modeling methodologies to identify threats and shape Red Team operations.
Incorporate current security trends, advisories, publications, and academic research.
Report on the Red Team engagements providing an in-depth analysis of the security issues identified.
Collaborate with defensive and infrastructure teams to improve defenses.
Identify complex security vulnerabilities and build exploits.
What We’re Seeking
Experience working in similar roles such as Offensive Security Engineer, Red Team Operator, Pen-tester, Malware Analysis, Infosec Investigator.
Good understanding of MITRE ATT&CK as well as Cyber Kill Framework.
Strong knowledge of Red Team tools and techniques.
Experience with detailed reporting.
Experience designing red team exercises and objectives.
Experience in performing assessments in areas like Web/API. External Network, Internal Network, AWS
Strong knowledge in Active Directory and authentication services.
Strong knowledge in programming, cloud services, networking and databases.
Proven problem solver with great collaboration and communication skills.
Industry security certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CEH, RTCP, CHFI, or similar.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $105,000 to $165,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
